DNA Networks, St Stephen’s Newtown and the Diocese of Chelmsford have been working together to create the Colchester pioneer hub, which will be a partnership of a range of churches and denominations advocating for pioneer mission.
The aim is to raise up, train, deploy and support pioneer ministers, lay or ordained, for the long haul. Programmes include
- Core curriculum on pioneer mission
- Modules on specialist fields of pioneer mission
- Placements in pioneering projects
- Group supervision of pioneer placements in coaching circles
- Spiritual formation practices for pioneers
- Developing a pioneer project after the first few years
