Children and families

Children at DNA are valued as much as the parents who bring them.

We recognise the inherent spirituality of children and their value in Jesus’ eyes, and seek to help them grow together in their experience and understanding of God and what it means to follow Jesus each day. We run a number of activities for children throughout the week:

Children’s church

Chlidren’s church is an integral part of our Sunday worship. Primary-age children (aged 5–11) and pre-schoolers (aged 2–4) have their own age-related church during the adultsʼ talk and discussion. Within these sessions children have an opportunity to hear a story from the Bible, do an activity (normally arts and crafts based on the story) and some informal prayer. They will often sing songs together.

Parent and Toddler Group

Parent and Toddler Group meets on Thursday, 10.15 – 11.45am, during term time. A babies and toddlers group with fun and laughter through music and free play. Snacks, drinks, stories or songs. Donation of 50p per family. They meet at 76 East Hill.

Families

We are committed to supporting families and we regularly organise family outings and events, marriage and marriage preparation courses, and parenting courses. To receive details of upcoming events, including dates of similar activities and courses, please contact us.
